Conscious Communities is the home of the developmental spaces field: resources and information on developmental spaces, and the meeting point for a growing network of organisations working in it.
It is part of a wider effort at Life Itself, together with Fetzer, Ekskäret, Commonweal, Springboard and LIONE, to gather what is known and build a field for developmental spaces.
Two names
Conscious communities is what most people call the places this site is about. Developmental spaces is the name the whitepaper gives the concept: dedicated, growth-oriented spaces where communities engage in sustained, multi-domain inner development. The site uses both. The front door speaks the first language; the concept, the paper, the manifesto and the network keep the second.
